Global Internet and private connectivity provider GNX has opened an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of its Middle East development. To better meet the unique connectivity needs of MEA-based businesses, MSPs, and data center providers as the area undergoes unheard-of development and innovation, GNX is bolstering its regional footprint with this move by assembling a local team of specialists.
Leading this buildout is Jan Willem Meijer, a member of the Advisory Board and a stakeholder in GNX.
“Having lived in Dubai for many years, I’ve built and nurtured a strong personal network which I’ve continued to develop from the Netherlands,” said Jan Willen Meijer. “This step is a commitment to them, our customers and partners, as much as an opportunity to build and expand new long-lasting local partnerships.”
The Middle East has become a flourishing location for global corporations and a center of innovation. In the telecom industry, it also poses particular difficulties, such as negotiating regional laws and adjusting to disparate infrastructure requirements.
“But connectivity in the Middle East doesn’t need to be complicated,” added Mr. Meijer. “GNX is a leader in the planning and execution of intricate and expansive connection projects, particularly in more difficult and regulated areas. Our mission is to assist multinational corporations in navigating these challenges.”
