GTT Communications has announced the expansion of its global partnership with Palo Alto Networks through the integration of Prisma SASE into its Secure Connect portfolio. The enhancement brings a managed, single-vendor Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution to GTT’s global enterprise clients, reflecting the growing demand for tightly integrated, cloud-native networking and security capabilities.
Targeting industries with distributed footprints such as healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, the solution aims to simplify and strengthen enterprise-wide security while improving remote and hybrid user experiences. The upgraded GTT Secure Connect offering now includes key SASE components such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), and SD-WAN, all delivered as a unified service through Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma SASE platform.
As businesses continue to accelerate their digital transformation efforts, the need for agile and scalable networks that combine networking and cybersecurity into one service has intensified. “The move toward advanced security and robust networking in a single, cloud-delivered service is being driven by the growing demand for agile, secure, and scalable networks,” said Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst at ZK Research. He noted GTT’s unique ability to offer a cloud-native architecture with global reach that can meet these emerging enterprise needs.
GTT Senior Vice President of Product Management, Tom Major, highlighted the company’s global capabilities and the advantage of offering a unified, high-performing solution. “We are uniquely positioned to help enterprises access their data and applications securely from anywhere in the world. With our deep expertise and extensive infrastructure, we deliver solutions that meet and exceed enterprise expectations for security, performance, and compliance,” he said.
Zero Trust Architectures
The new offering would further be strengthened by GTT’s EnvisionDX platform, a digital experience layer that provides real-time analytics, insights, and control over application performance. This layer is designed to support a high level of customization and visibility, ensuring enterprises have the tools to manage increasingly complex IT environments.
From Palo Alto Networks’ side, Anupam Upadhyaya, Senior Vice President of Product Management, emphasized the benefits of combining GTT’s managed services and global connectivity with the AI-driven Prisma SASE platform. “Together, we’re enabling Zero Trust architectures and delivering a secure, seamless user experience worldwide,” he said.
The partnership between GTT and Palo Alto Networks spans over a decade and has consistently focused on delivering secured connectivity solutions to enterprises globally. With the addition of Prisma SASE, the alliance aims to support organizations in meeting modern networking challenges while simplifying the operational complexity of managing security across increasingly distributed IT landscapes.
